The Tonya Keller Community Center (TKCC) is the focal point for many of the Ideal Beach community activities. It is here that the IBCA meets every second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The TKCC provides recreation programs for people ages 18 months to 100! Examples of programs include: Just For Toddlers Preschool, Open Recreation (Grades 1st thru 12th), Ceramics for children and adults, adult Aerobics and much more! It was named in honor of Ms. Keller who, for 24 years, served as a staff member and director of the Center. She contributed greatly to the life, vitality, and community of the neighborhood. The Ideal Beach community is incredibly fortunate to have the protection of the East Keansburg Fire Company, Station 5, and Middletown Emergency Medical Services right here within our neighborhood. Those that serve these stations are a dedicated group of individuals ready to act on our behalf to protect our families, homes, and property…. on a volunteer basis.
