Another Great Spring Beach Sweep was Held Last Week-end!

The weather was perfect.  The volunteers came out….. And there was a Tie!

Congratulations to both Mrs. Bennett’s and Mrs. Murphy’s First Grade Classes for generating the most Beach Sweep participants (17 each class) and winning Pizza Lunches from the IBCA.  These 1st Graders are winners for sure!!

Everyone that came out to participate did a terrific job… OAS students, daisy troop members, boy scouts, moms and dads, and many, many others.  Some volunteers came as far away as near Philly!

Thanks to ALL for a terrific day and a show of support for the shore.

A Great Start for the IBCA Clean Committee!!

Smiles were bright and dispositions sunny during the IBCA Clean Committee Kick-off Event held on Saturday, April 20th.  The IBCA was joined by local Daisy Troop #839 who displayed their ‘clean spirit’ as they helped out at the Tonya Keller Community Center field and surrounding area, located at 50 Bray Avenue, right here in the neighborhood!

While the weather was chilly, that certainly didn’t dampen spirits, and the IBCA Clean Committee will certainly continue their good work throughout our Ideal Beach Neighborhood as the seasons unfold.

Look for upcoming notices as the IBCA and dedicated residents work together to keep our community clean…. And have fun doing it!

Another Successful Bake Sale!! and Thanks to All who Helped

The IBCA Bake Sale held on Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th in front of beautiful St. Catherine’s church was a tremendous success!  Thank you Father Dan and the church congregation for all your support in helping us to surpass last year’s bake sale success.  Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who baked and participated to make this bake sale a total success.  The terrific treats were quickly scooped up and enjoyed by all who purchased… and even our furry friends enjoyed baked goods especially made for them.

This year’s Bake Sale generated $690 in sales and generous donations!  We couldn’t be happier, and we truly appreciate all that was done by so many to show support for the IBCA and for the Ideal Beach Community.

 Thanks So Very Much!
